Skills

I followed Deakin Talent’s skills assessment tools and got to understand what my skills, interests and values are.

It helped me to plan what I have to do in the future to be a successful professional. The skills assessment is included below.

Skills Assessment

After carefully reviewing, I realized what my strong points are. That is what I enjoy doing and what I am capable of doing. On the other hand I also realized skills that I particularly don’t enjoy doing but I have to develop. Through this I came to an understanding that to be successful I have to step out of my comfort zone and develop my skills. (Blogs.deakin.edu.au, 2019)

I aspire to work as a cyber security consultant in the future. Currently I have skills such as analysis, self management, attention to detail, planning and organizing skills so on and so forth. I also have to increase my abilities in areas such as leadership, networking negotiating and verbal communication.
